Data Deletion Instructions
You can ask Norscribe to delete information associated with your use of app.norscribe.ai, including account information, captured content, connected-platform information, or an organization you own. You can also disconnect Norscribe through the application or the connected provider.
Option 1: Disconnect a publishing account
- Open app.norscribe.ai and sign in.
- On the Home screen, find the connected publishing accounts.
- Select the Facebook and Instagram, Google Business Profile, or other available connection.
- Choose Disconnect and confirm.
Disconnecting prevents new use of that connection by Norscribe. It does not automatically delete posts previously published to the provider or all content stored in your Norscribe workspace.
Option 2: Remove access through the provider
You may revoke Norscribe from the connected provider’s account settings. For a Meta connection covering Facebook Pages and linked Instagram Professional accounts, review Facebook’s Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites area and remove Norscribe. Provider menus can change, so consult the provider’s current help documentation if the option has moved.
This page is Norscribe’s public user-data-deletion instructions URL for Meta. It is not an automated deletion-status page. If Meta or Norscribe directs you here after removing the app, use Option 3 to request deletion of data Norscribe still holds.
Option 3: Request deletion from Norscribe
Email christianwiedmann@gmail.com with the subject Norscribe Data Deletion Request.
Include:
- The email address you use to sign in to Norscribe.
- Your organization or business name, if applicable.
- Whether you want to delete a specific connection, selected content, your membership, your account, or an entire organization you own.
- Enough non-sensitive detail to identify the requested records.
Verification and organization ownership
To protect users and businesses, Norscribe may require verification through the signed-in account or another reasonable method. A member cannot delete an entire organization unless authorized to do so. Organization-owned records may remain available to other authorized members when only one member leaves.
What deletion covers
Depending on the verified request and lawful retention needs, deletion may include account profile information, invitations or membership, original media, transcripts, drafts, generated content, connected destination records, stored authorization credentials, and publishing history.
What may be retained
Limited information may remain when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, financial records, legal compliance, enforcement of agreements, or completion of normal backup cycles. Norscribe will not use retained information for unrelated purposes.
Previously published content
Deleting Norscribe data does not necessarily remove content already published to Facebook, Instagram, Google, or another destination. Remove that content through the destination itself or contact the relevant platform.
Confirmation
After verifying and processing a request, Norscribe will provide confirmation or explain any information that must be retained. If additional information is required, Norscribe will request only what is reasonably necessary to verify and complete the request.
