Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to the public website at norscribe.ai, the beta web application at app.norscribe.ai, and related Norscribe services. Norscribe is operated by Christian Wiedmann in Florida, United States. By accessing or using Norscribe, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You must provide accurate information, use your own authorized account, protect your device and credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
Beta access may be invitation-only. An invitation is personal to the intended recipient unless Norscribe expressly permits otherwise.
2. Organizations, members, and roles
Norscribe organizes access around businesses or other organizations. Organization owners are responsible for invitations, roles, permissions, connected destinations, and the acts of members they authorize. Members may access only the organizations and information for which they have permission.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of content you create or provide. You grant Norscribe a limited, nonexclusive license to host, copy, process, transform, transcribe, display, transmit, and publish that content only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, perform your instructions, protect the service, and satisfy legal obligations.
You represent that you have the rights, permissions, releases, and lawful basis necessary to capture, upload, process, and publish the content you provide, including images, voices, likenesses, business information, music, trademarks, and customer material.
4. Original material and generated content
Norscribe is designed to preserve original captured material separately from later edits and generated drafts. Nevertheless, you are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups.
AI-generated or transcribed material may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You must review facts, claims, spelling, permissions, safety information, professional advice, and platform requirements before approving or publishing content.
5. READY is not Published
A SPOT or campaign marked READY has been approved for the next step; it has not necessarily been published. Publishing is a separate action requiring an authorized user’s instruction and destination selection. Each destination may succeed, fail, remain pending, or require reconciliation independently.
6. Connected services and publishing authority
You may connect supported third-party platforms only when you are authorized to manage the relevant account, Page, profile, location, or destination. By directing Norscribe to publish, you represent that you have authority to publish that content to every selected destination.
Third-party platforms control their own permissions, review processes, availability, limits, and enforcement. Norscribe cannot guarantee that a platform will accept, display, retain, or distribute a post. Platform terms and policies also apply.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Norscribe to:
- Violate law, platform rules, privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, contractual, or other rights.
- Access another person’s account, organization, content, or destination without authorization.
- Publish deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, exploitative, or unlawful content.
- Distribute malware, probe security, bypass access controls, or interfere with the service.
- Misrepresent generated material, endorsements, relationships, or the source of content.
8. Norscribe name and brand
The name Norscribe was independently created from the ideas of “North” and “Scribe.” It represents finding the right direction and thoughtfully shaping what a person or business shares with the world.
Norscribe was not created to imitate another organization, trade on another organization’s reputation, or imply an affiliation with an existing product, service, or company.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Norscribe is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or connected to any similarly named third party. Third-party names, trademarks, products, and services remain the property of their respective owners. This explanation of the name’s origin is not a claim of trademark registration, legal clearance, or a guarantee that conflicting rights do not exist.
9. Norscribe intellectual property
Except for user content and third-party material, the software, designs, workflows, documentation, branding, and service content used to provide Norscribe are owned by or licensed to Norscribe’s operator and may not be copied, reverse engineered, sold, or commercially exploited except as permitted by law or written agreement.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Norscribe at any time. Norscribe may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, platform compliance, nonpayment, abuse, material breach, or protection of users or the service. Data handling after termination is governed by the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Norscribe is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or error-free operation. Norscribe does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other licensed professional advice.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Norscribe and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost business, lost data, reputational harm, platform enforcement, or unauthorized third-party conduct. Aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid Norscribe during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Florida law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Brevard County, Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
14. Changes and contact
